Meditation

When Elisha was searching for additional ways to calm her overactive immune system, she had heard many positives about meditation.  As she embraced the practice of meditation, at first it didn’t come easily for her - it wasn’t exactly love at first breath, or “om”.


After a few weeks of daily practice, Elisha started to notice some positive changes in her body and mind - a sense of calmness, peacefulness and clarity. Additionally, she found that she actually started to enjoy meditation and craved the daily chance to let her mind rest.

Through additional research, Elisha also discovered that through the practice of meditating she was also supporting her Vagus Nerve - encouraging her body to recognize that it was in a calm, safe space - something that is essential for healing.

If you are interested in trying meditation, and aren’t sure where to start, you can find some great free resources below.  We recommend that you start with a daily 5 - 10 minute meditation, and then build from there.
